Experience counts - but how dumb are lefties whining about Palin's foreign policy experience?

First, let's listen again to Clinton's supporter at the DNC convention, and remember she is talking about Obama's experience:

(This was linked here before, but I'm trying to make a point)
  • Obama's running for president, Palin for VP. Who's lack of experience should we worry about more?
  • Obama with less experience and foriegn policy knowledge than Palin, still lefties cannot help themselves and continue to voice doubts about Palin's - not Obama.
  • Most presidents in the last 100 years had little or no foreign policy experience. But none had a resume as thin as Obama's. How much of an idiot are you to question a VP's experience and not your own candidate's?
  • By attacking Palin and not McCain - is that an admission that McCain is going to be a great president in a comparison with Obama?

Well, keep these points in mind when you read this, about a so called "conservative republican" whose campaigning for Obama:
Hagel questions Palin experience
Sarah Palin has energized the Republican base since John McCain picked her as his vice-presidential running mate, but one prominent Republican is not impressed.

Nebraska Sen. Chuck Hagel, a Republican, is questioning whether Palin has enough foreign-policy experience to serve as the country’s second-in-command. “She doesn’t have any foreign policy credentials,” Hagel told the Omaha World-Herald. “You get a passport for the first time in your life last year? I mean, I don’t know what you can say. You can’t say anything.”

“I think they ought to be just honest about it and stop the nonsense about, ‘I look out my window and I see Russia and so therefore I know something about Russia,” he added. “That kind of thing is insulting to the American people.”

A conservative Vietnam War veteran and outspoken critic of the Iraq War, Hagel has cultivated a reputation as somebody unafraid to buck his party.

Hagel traveled with Democratic candidate Barack Obama to Afghanistan in July and was mentioned as a possible Obama running mate. He had kind words for Obama’s eventual pick, Delaware Sen. Joseph Biden.

“An Obama-Biden ticket is a very impressive and strong team,” Hagel said in August

Huh? Impressive and strong? In comparison with what?

I was talking with my wife about how many Democrats crossed over recently in support of McCain(here, here and here... also here), and I haven't seen any crossing to support Obama. Well - he's been found. I don't want to denigrate him personally, just to point out to the unabridged flaw in his argument; Palin's experience in contrast to Obama. America will be the judge, if the public would care to look beyond the rhetoric and into the facts.

P.S.
Let's not forget a prominent Democrat Senator who gave a speech at the GOP convention:
Joe-Lieberman
