Ehem... Chicago Politics? Illinois Governer Arrested for trying to sell Obama's Senate Seat

But that's how politics is done in Chicago, isn't it? Oy vey.

Foxnews: Illinois Governor Arrested on Corruption Charges
Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff were arrested in Chicago Tuesday on two counts each of corruption charges relating to trying to sell President-elect Barack Obama's vacated Senate seat.

...

Say it: HOPE'N'CHANGE

More about Chicago Politics, at Gateway Pundit. Or anywhere on the web really - this story is everywhere right now.

How will the prosecution end though? Will we see another Spitzer? There's no whore to glorify here. (or is there?)

I missed it initially, but other bloggers paid attention... it's "guess that party" time. If you guessed the party of "hope'n'change" - you get a special prize. Click here for your prize.

In other news, Obama expects the economy to worsen
But the president-elect tempers the dire assessment with a dose of optimism: 'We can emerge leaner, meaner and . . . more prosperous.'

ehem... leaner?! That's optimism or just misuse of a phrase?
Pressed by NBC's Tom Brokaw, Obama said his economic advisors were still "crunching the numbers" for a post-inauguration economic stimulus package. In a weekend radio address, he said the package would include a massive public works program to build roads and other infrastructure projects.

In other words, it's still hope'n'change slogans, no substance - and clueless as to what to do. I don't blame him for being clueless, because that's what I said he was over the last year - but the public just wouldn't care to notice.

Also, Obama pledges to create jobs via public works - just like the good ol'days. Because if you were fired from your white color job or your high income manufacturing job, the first thing you want to do is get less than minimum wages to rebuild hoover dam. Seriously, infrastructure jobs are jobs for extreme low incomers (and illegal workers too BTW), and make tons of money for - "Those Evil Corporations". But hey, at least it's one campaign promise he still hasn't reverted.

Reminder: Obama wanted to keep shitty jobs in the US, by the Onion:

Obama Promises To Stop America's Shitty Jobs From Going Overseas

Also, regarding stimulating the stimulus: Should the government stop dumping money into a giant hole?

In The Know: Should The Government Stop Dumping Money Into A Giant Hole?

Onion, life imitates satire.
My father worked two jobs so he'd have money to put in the money hole, he didn't complain!
